The Final Artifacts of CLEAR

Last night, on my 30th birthday, the aha-moment hit: it is time to change my name to Forrest Mortifee. It's been a while coming; according to my text history, I've been mulling it over with my dear friend Sho since Feb. He's FTM-trans too (female-to-male), and has been super supportive since we became close while both living in The Bay. BTW - I haven't even told my mom I'm changing my name yet lol so whoever is reading this, consider yourself in the very early, exclusive know.

At the time of this minting, it's been just over 4 years since I changed my name from Claire to Clear, and my pronouns from she to they. Over these years, I've medically transitioned, and come into a much more grounded sense of myself as a man. With every month that passes I feel better and better...my glow-up just doesn't stop ppl !!! I'm embodying my essence, my energy, my Soul - and as I turn this corner into a bright new decade, I Am Forrest, pronouns he/him.

Offering this NFT feels like a really clean way to honour the end of what has been an incredibly important era in my life. The flier in the centre is thee final poster I made with the name Clear Mortifee on it. It's from a show I did at a jazz club in WeHo last March...such a dope night; legendary band. To the left and right of the poster are photos of my friend Laura sporting the last ever Clear Mortifee merch, decorated by my song "Honey Boy".

I'm capping the mint at 11 because there are only 11 t-shirts left, and each of you lucky minters is getting one snail-mailed to ya, so get ready to give me your addresses. They're all size large, and are printed on the softest, most ethical + eco-friendly cotton I could find. I hope you cherish and I hope you enjoy <3

Blessings,
Forrest.
